On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, PT Meprofarm conducted a Customer Audit visit to Medion Plastic’s production facility in Cimareme. The seven-hour Supplier Quality Audit aimed to ensure compliance with the strict standards of the Pharmaceutical Industry Quality System. For PT Meprofarm as a human pharmaceutical industry, conducting audits on its suppliers is a vital step in meeting the mandatory Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) requirements.
The audit team from PT Meprofarm conducted this comprehensive assessment with the close attention of PT Medion Farma Jaya’s management and cross-departmental technical teams. The entire process was structured, from the opening session and factory tour to site visits to the warehouse, production, and shipping locations. The audit team also thoroughly examined the quality documentation system, which encompasses the Quality System, Production, and Quality Control.
Besides serving as a formal evaluation tool, this activity provided a valuable opportunity to share information and provide constructive feedback for both parties. Based on the results of the inspection, Medion Plastic has officially been declared qualified and successfully met all criteria to be a packaging material supplier for PT Meprofarm.
